COMMERCIAL PRESENTATION


The history of the production of one of the oldest beverages that the humans know - the beer, starts 6000 years B.C. The writings found in the archaeological examinations of Babylon show that the Babylonians were producing 16 different types of beer.
In the ancient Egypt, beer was in the everyday use as a food.
A day payment that the pharaoh was paying to the workers was made of four peaces of bread and two glasses of beer. Ramses the Third was saying that he promised the gods exactly 466 303 glasses of beer, no less, and no more.
In China round 2300 B.C. they were making a drink very similar to beer named "kloon".
The peoples in South America, the Inks were making beverages of fermented corn named "chikla" and "sora", long before the Europeans discovered this continent.
From the ancient writings we know that all peoples that were living in regions where was possible to grow some kind of weed knew how to produce some sort of beer.
After we sow how people produced beer in the ancient times, now we can turn to the traditions of production and consuming in our region.
Bitola during the history was a certain boil pot of different traditions and cultures. Different peoples left their traces in this town. The people of Bitola always had cosmopolitan spirit. Bitola was always the first town in which the winds of change were blowing, a city in which for the first time the roots of the European civilization showed. With that also the consuming of beer in Bitola is quite old.
There are over 2000 songs of Bitola, and in one of them it says:
"…let us go to Bitola,
… to have a nice cold beer…"

This tradition continues today.
Round thirty years ago the industrial production of beer in Bitola started with the erection of the Bitola Brewery, and during the last thirty years of work of this factory the foundation was laid of what today is called Brewery Bitola.

In march 2000; the strategical investor, the company Kenri GmbH from Basel, Switzerland, took this factory.
From the first moment of the contact between the new owner and the workers a spirit of understanding, confidence and strong will for turning the mutual interest to reality was developed.
The owner of the company Kenri GmbH, Mr. Ahmet Iskender is also owner of other firms in Switzerland, and in some other countries.
The part of the capital owned by the state was bought. From the moment of the takeover to today the investor gave a considerable amount of investment in to new equipment, and in complete renewing of the important production systems in the company.
There was an investment also in the new line for production of non-alcoholic beverages made from high quality and expensive materials.

Bitola has great advantage for the brewing industry, before some others towns because of the crystal clear water that comes from the mountain of Baba. This water is very soft, and pure, and it is not necessary to do any technological preparations to it, to use it for brewing a good beer.
For the production of our three types of beer, Kenbach, Kenbach Millenium, and Babam we use only the best materials available on the market:
- High quality German barley malt
- Combination of the best German hops,
- And a German yeast culture

The team that makes the wonderful and well-balanced taste of our beer is made of German beer masters, real beer doctors.
The technological process of beer production is conducted in more different departments equipped with the newest equipment for beer production.

The boil house, consisting of:
Department for malt handling and keeping.
Dept. for preparing and boiling of the wort.
Hygiene keeping dept.


Fermentation and maturation cellar.
Dept. for beer yeast propagation.
Dept. for main fermentation.
Dept. for slow fermentation and maturing of the beer.
Dept. for beer filtration.

The technological process is conducted by the most sophisticated methods in the modern brewing industry.
The whole process in controlled by the chemical and the microbiological laboratory in the brewery that guarantee rightness and the quality of the beer.
The laboratory staff is highly trained to use European standards in their work, and to use the norms of the European Brewery Convention.
The new equipment brought by the investor is:
- New CIP stations for washing of the equipment
- New automation equipment of the fermentation
- New CO2 system for collecting, clearing and re-use of the CO2 win by the fermentation, in the filling of the beer.
- New fine filtration equipment

In the filling dept. a completely new equipment is installed with capacity of 50 000 bottles per hour. The whole process is automated, from the taking of the filtered beer to the putting of the casks in the lagering area. We use the newest tunnel pasteurization equipment that guarantees the high shelf life of the beer.
We believe that what have we just said is enough to convince the consumers in the value that they get with the consuming of our product.


Our company works by the principles of the free market in all the segments of its work. Always the first place has his Highness the Consumer. Considering the all-round economical situation in our country, Brewery Bitola made it possible for all types of consumers to have possibility to use its products. Now the beer drinkers have a wider choice. The natural fermentation process with no added components and chemicals give birth to beer for which the normal consumer says that this beer cause no headache and doesn't "blows" the stomach.
The products of Brewery Bitola are sold through the net of authorized dealers all over Macedonia.
Today it is hardly imaginable to have success without paying attention to the design of product. Brewery Bitola is proud that it is absolutely the best in the country, and very good in the world market. We can discover a little secret about our green Kenbach bottle. It has an UV protection, so the sunrays, which normally cause chemical reactions in the beer, cannot affect the beer inside.
Further on the label has an aluminum component in it, which gives it a special glow.
And, of course, our famous thermometer, when it showed itself for the firs time on the market, this marketing tool captured the hearts of the real beer lovers. For the first time on the market there was an interactive relationship, a real communication between the beer and the consumer.
The questionmark that hugs the thermometer makes you think, do I consume the beer with the right temperature? At the same moment the thermometer offers you the answer, its blue color is an indication that the beer is cold enough, and that the taste for the consuming is ideally balanced. At the end the beer itself talks to you, and says CHEERS!
For the quality of our beer not only we talk. Every day at our address we get messages that confirm the quality and the taste of the beer. We have had good feedback from the consumers, and also from the experts. Many analysis made in the top institutes in Europe confirm the microbiological, and biochemical highest possible quality of our beer, placing it at the top of the European beers.
We got the highest grades from www.beercolection.net, an analyzing institution on the Internet.
Our company makes big efforts to export its beer. We see the exporting of our beer as a main income source. While many firms in Macedonia try to sell here many foreign produced beers, Brewery Bitola exports to countries where beer is seen as a way of life. Normally, the export itself is enabled by the perfect performances of the beer considering its quality, design and price.
The export of our beer in Germany -the land of the beer, in Australia - where you have beer from all over the world, and in Yugoslavia - where the consumers know how to chose quality is a proof enough what is being offered to the consumer.
The exporting orientation will go on being one of the pillars of planning the business politics of the company and its marketing strategy.
The optimal combination of the elements of the marketing, the product, the price, the distributing and the promotion makes our beer into a symbol of image and reputation.
